Class Descriptions

Beginner/FoundationYoga
This introduction to our Power Flow Vinyasa classes focuses on the pose, the purpose, and modifications in order to fit the pose to your body correctly. This class gets you ready for Power Flow but is slower-paced. The room temperature is set to 80 degrees. Bring a towel and water. (60 min.)
Boot Camp Power Yoga
This sweat-building, muscle-burning class is geared toward people who want to push themselves to the next level physically and mentally. Poses are linked with various sun salutations and postures are held longer. The room temperature is set 85+ degrees to aid in detoxing the body and keeping it safe as we explore our "edge". Bring a towel and water. (60 or 75 min.)
Family Yoga (four-session program)
This month-long, four-session program brings parents and young children together. Classes run 11:30am-12:00pm on four consecutive Saturdays of each month. All ages welcome for this fun, giggle-filled approach to learning yoga. Program price of $60 includes four weekly sessions with up to four family members each week. Next session to be announced. Gentle Yoga
A blend of breath-work, meditation, restorative with very little beginner flow yoga, creates this slow-paced class designed to move the body through a wide range of poses that help restore strength, balance, flexibility and inner focus. Bolsters, blocks and straps are provided. (60 min.)
Open Vinyasa Yoga
Designed for beginners and intermediate practitioners, this open class forum focuses on alignment, building strength and stamina, and can be a beautiful bridge to the next level. The room temperature is set between 80 to 85 degrees. Bring a towel and water. (60 or 75 min.)
Open Power Vinyasa Yoga
A sweat-building class geared towards people who want to get to the next level in their practice. Poses are linked with sun salutations and combine standing, balancing and floor work. The room temperature is set to 85 degrees to aid in detoxing the body while keeping it safe as we explore our"edge" in each posture. Bring a towel and water. (60 or 75 min.)
Open Power Vinyasa Yoga With Aroma Therapy
This sweat-building Power Flow Vinyasa class adds a special treat at the end of all the work, while resting in Savasana. Eye-cloths scented with relaxing lavender are provided to those who would like them. This is a non-invasive way to add the healing and relaxing qualities of scent to a practice. (60 or 75 min.)
Yoga For The Stiff Guy Or Gal
This class is designed to help the average "Joe/Jane" regain some of his/her lost flexibility and balance in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. This class blends "Gentle Yoga" with "Beginner Flow" and concentrates on the needs of the participants. Questions will be welcomed. The room temperature is set between 76 to 78 degrees. Bring a towel and water. (60 min.)
